Darlington FC footballer Harry Butters today denied an allegation of rape and other linked charges and will stand trial later this year. The Quakers’ Under-23 team player appeared at a short plea and trial preparation hearing at Teesside Crown Court, via video link from Holme House Prison, Stockton.
